Included in the tour are key San Angelo’s western heritage sites: Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, The Cactus Hotel, (one of the first hotels ever built by Conrad Hilton), the Historic Murals of San Angelo, the historic Concho Avenue business district, Art in Uncommon Places, the Chicken Farm Art Center, and the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts as well as the award-winning River Walk along the Concho River that runs through the center of San Angelo. Visit San Angelo State Park, home to the Official Texas State Longhorn & Bison Herds. Hummer House, Christoval Winery & Mt. Carmel Hermitage are one morning. There’s a trip to see the Painted Rock pictographs. And back in San Angelo, see the Internationally acclaimed Water Lily Gardens. Evenings introduce you to some of the best restaurants in San Angelo.
