CANCELLED Costume Contest @ the 2021 Cowboy Way Jubilee

All Re-Enactors, Historians, & Performers are invited to join the 2021 Cowboy Way Jubilee. We have a large parade grounds and are planning to have several demos/events on-going concurrently throughout the weekend. To participate, contact Leslei Fisher. We can offer free admission for the weekend for all Re-Enactors, Historians, & Performers as well as lunch will be provided in the green rooms (Barracks 6, The Commissary, & The Quartermasters’ buildings).

The event begins Thursday evening, October 7 with a campfire singalong. It continues All day Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 9am to 6pm (closes at 5pm on Sunday, October 10). And there are evening concerts on Friday & Saturday which you are welcome to enjoy as our guests.

In addition, there will be a formal costume contest on Saturday, October 9th. Our three judges will conduct casual interviews throughout the day with the Best/Most Authentic Male Costume and the Best/Most Authentic Female Costume awards announced at 4:30pm, Saturday, October 9th. Rick Mantooth, Mike Thompson, and Dr. Jason Pierce, History Department, Angelo State University, are our costume judges. To participate in the Costume Contest, merely be present during the day on Saturday, October 9, 2021 and be sure to speak to all 3 of our judges!
