Howdy Y’all!
The Registration 2018 page has just been updated to include more details about this year’s event venue. Since we’re moving the Cowboy Way MayFest 2018 to Downtown Ardmore, OK, there have been many questions. Naturally. So hopefully this will answer some of the more common questions. It is a Covered Venue but it IS Outdoors! So be ready for any weather! Spring in Oklahoma is unpredictable — wind is likely. IF it rains (and it won’t because too many of us are praying it won’t! haha), the Music/Poetry/Storytelling is in a covered area and will go on. Unless you’re right at the edge you can keep dry. SOME vendors (the ones from last year) will be inside and a few outside. ALL Celebrity Activities will be INDOORS!
We are still hoping to have some local cowboys and girls to do a demo or two so you’re gonna have to CHOOSE what you want to do when. You’ll be able to hear the music just about anywhere except where we’re showing the Movies/TV shows and it won’t be very loud in the Celebrity building. So that’s a plus. Schedule will be posted in April “Sometime” 😛
If you know anyone who wants to be a vendor (since we have way more space this year), or to put an Ad in our full color, 32-48 page Program Guide, have them call Leslei, 580-768-5559. If anyone would like to pony up to be a Sponsor, you may sponsor a specific Celebrity, Performer, or just generally. Sponsorships start at $250 and go up. Details on the Sponsorship page of course. After all we gotta keep the Cowboy Way of Life Alive, and that takes a bit of dough!
