Costume Contest Open to All!

Do you enjoy putting on your cowboy duds and showing ’em off? Are you a serious Re-enactor who believes you have THE MOST AUTHENTIC costume? Or a ‘saloon gal’ type who loves ruffles and feathers and such? Well, this contest is for YOU!

Saturday, July 25th, our three judges (Rick Mantooth of Foster Communications, Mike Thompson — award-winning re-enactor and costumer, and Dr. Jason Pierce of Angelo State University History Department) will interview throughout the day. Interviews are informal and will be held from 9am to 3pm. Then, at 4pm we will announce the Most Authentic Male and Most Authentic Female costumes. Winners receive a handsome plaque and bragging rights! They may also be featured in future Cowboy Way Jubilee advertising.

Of course, everyone is encouraged to dress up every day of the Cowboy Way Jubilee. Random prizes will be awarded by the Staff to
